I bought this for my husband who is the only coffee drinker in the household. He likes his coffee strong and when he would use the amount of coffee he prefers, the coffee maker would overflow and create a mess on the countertop.
It is an attractive unit, easy to clean but I would not buy another one.

I’m totally happy with this compact single cup coffee maker. it’s quick, makes good, hot coffee. It comes with a permanent filter which was an added plus. I only wish that the cup was a bit bigger. and it would be nice if the cord was retractable or something. Still i’m happy and would purchase again.

This machine is great! Not only does it make a cup of good coffee, it also looks very sleek. It might be too small for heavy drinkers, but this is just perfect for people who don’t drink a lot of coffee everyday. If you need coffee just occasionally, this is the one for you; besides, it does not require much kitchen counter top. I totally love my personal coffee maker.

Got this as a gift, thought hey..this is great - one fresh cup of coffee at a time and would not be wasting coffee on a bigger machine as I am the only who does drink coffee (husband doesn’t). Worked alright for a while and now almost each time I brew a cup..about a 1/4 of the coffee drips onto the counter, down the cabinets, and onto the floor. Even after cleaning it well folks! I cannot tell you how many paper towels I have had to use to clean up..very disappointed..expected a more superior product from Brookstone.
