Customer Reviews
Works good with wireless g / WPA by slakerx
If you use a wireless network w/ wpa2 security, dont bother getting this, it only works with wpa or wep.
You think since it was almost $100 it would support wpa2.
It is what it is by Kris Rosa
Works perfectly fine. I agree with everyone else, way way over priced. But if you need to go wireless then get this. I’ve had no problems with this product at all, installs easy and quick, and works like it should. Other then the price, it is what it is.
2 expensive, but works flawlessly by G B RODikUlus
I must say this is too expensive, and that’s the ONLY bad thing I can think of about it. Search the internet for the cheapest price you can find. This Wireless Adaptor will handle signal from the widely used G band, and the hardly ever used A band. As long as you get a wirelss adaptor that can shoot out an A band signal, this baby will catch it.
The only good thing about making this a separate piece a good thing is so that as newer signals get created, such as the N band, the xbox can handle it when MS makes a suitable adaptor.
Once you’ve absorbed the loss, you won’t think twice about it because it does as advertised. the fun stars are unappropiate for this type of review, yet I applied that to how well it works. It works flawlessly. I live in NY, but had to join up with my ATL cousins in FLA. We shared a hotel room, and got the hotels wireless internet security passcode, and we were online gaming.
DO NOT BUY THIS ADAPTER by Risto Beatty
When I got this router i plugged it in and it worked fine for then. later i had simply unplugged it because it was slow (I.E. I had to plug my xbox in downstairs) and when i put it in it would not connect to my wireless network when clearly nothing was wrong. After a one and a half phone call with xbox customer service they blatantly told me i was screwed and there was nothing i could do unless i happened to have another xbox console laying around. For the 100 dollars i paid for it i would expect a quality product and after this experiance i will not plan to buy any xbox brand product again. Instead of buying this do yourself a favor and DON’T.
DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT!
